Did anyone feel a sense of satisfaction when they saw Thanos' face when a certain someone used the Infinity Stones during the climax of the movie. Avengers endgame portal scene. Comic book fights tend to be stale exercises in pointless ‘buff vs. ‘nerf resulting in little boys arguing over whether Batman could beat Superman. The Russos version of this - “Civil War” was so much better because they realized that this kind of discussion is for idiots. Their Civil War was a battle between National Security and Civil Liberty. A battle which has no ultimate right and wrong, and a war where everyone potentially loses. Likewise - Endgame is not about whether Thors two hammers can beat Thanos double sided blade. ridiculous. Its about what happens when the villain is so powerful that the heroes cannot defeat him with their superpowers. Its only then that you find out - what they are really made of, and thats the genius of this film.

As much as i love this movie, there is so much inconsistency in it. Thor had two fucking weapon, and he still got his ass kicked easily. He couldn't even touch Thanos despite Thor having millenia experience in battle. How cap hurting Thanos with Thors hammer is beyond me. He felt more of a threat than Thor. I don't care if Thor lost is more, dad, and Asgard. That should have made him angry and channel that anger towards Thanos. Thor ragnarok has a better combat skills easily but in Endgame, he fought Thanos recklessly. Russo brothers favor Captain america alot.
